2013 Has Been My Year of Adventure

Now that we are halfway...well more than halfway...through the year, I have taken some time to look back at all that has happened this year.  It has been a busy year!
1.  I finished my 31st year of teaching.

     
2. I saw my son get married, and now have a daughter! (in-law)
         

3.  I continued my "Discover Oklahoma" adventures with my partner-in-crime, Denice.
                             

4.  I finally, after decades of dreaming about it, got to go to New York City with the best sister on the planet!

5.  I finished my middle grade novel, and working to get it published by one of the biggies!
                   
6.  I started this project, after much hesitation, to give myself more writing opportunities.

So, there you have it, for starters.  I hope to go back in the next few weeks and add some to each of those events, because to me, at least, they were pretty big!
